Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts born to Betty Lou Bredemus (mother) and Walter Grady Roberts on October 28 in 1967. Her great-grandfather John Pendleton Roberts, a farmer was the first Roberts to arrive in Atlanta. Her father had an early interest in the stage. He was a part of his Emory University campus in 1952 and also in a variety of productions in Atlanta. When he was stationed in Biloxi, Mississippi, he was inducted into the Air Force in 1953. Betty Lou Bredemus was part of the show as well. The two married in 1955, and their first son Eric Anthony was born in 1956. In 1957 the couple left the Air Force and Walter enrolled at Tulane University in New Orleans Louisiana. Walter began his work at Atlanta Academy Theater and Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio in 1960. Walter along with Betty Lou produced a Saturday matinee local TV show for children named Bum Bum and His Buddies in 1964. This was a project they self-financed. In 1964 Betty Lou and Walter founded the Actors and Writers Workshop. It ran for about six years. Lelisa Billingsley, also known as Lisa was born in the year 1965. Julia Billingsley followed in 1967.
